Cliffdale Farm section of Teatown Reservation. An easy loop through

the woods with views of the Hudson River in the distance. An optional

added loop brings this hike up to moderate. Children will enjoy

seeing reproductions of Native American homes if they take the

Pocantico Hills - Rockefeller State Park. We will meet at both the

Old Croton Aqueduct - From the Croton Dam to Rt 9A the trail is more

isolated from neighboring houses. The aqueduct has a grade of 3 feet

Mt Taurus via Notch Trail (red blazes, then white) - An evening hike

up the back side of Taurus to the summit where we will have dinner

and watch fireworks. Planned return will be sometime near midnight.

Ellenville Ice Caves - An all day hike from near the Ellenville Fire

Department lot to the Ice Caves above Ellenville and on the back side of

the Lake Minnewaska area. Aside from exploring the ice caves, there should

be plenty of blueberries to pick. No promises though. There area used to

Lake Minnewaska - An all day hike from the Lake Minnewaska/Mohonk area

following parts of the Long Path and a road above some spectacular cliffs.

There is a waterfall, cliffs, roads, peaks, and swimming. Bring a bathing

The annual fall colors trip to the high peaks region of the Adirondak

Mountains is the nights of September 27th and 28th returning on the

29th. We will be staying in leanto's or tenting at Heart Lake near
